Dr. Tina Sharkey
Dr. Tina Sharkey is a native of Colorado. She knew at a young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. CSU was her only choice for school due to quality vet school. She graduated with a double degree in Biology and Zoology. Tina continued her education and graduated in 2001 with her DVM. Upon graduating vet school, Tina worked at a busy clinic in Thornton for several years. To continue her knowledge and skill level, Tina decided to work as an emergency clinician at a large referral center in Denver. After having 2 beautiful kids, Tina made a life change and joined a day clinic again in Loveland. She now works at both Orchard Animal Clinic and Big Thompson Animal Hospital while still finding time to help her husband run a small clinic in Denver. Tina loves working with the clients and helping both the pets and the clients. Her interests include behavior and internal medicine. She would like to thank you for allowing us to keeping your pet healthy.
Dr. Lise Cummings
Dr. Lise (pronounced "Lisa") grew up in Boulder and came to Veterinary medicine as a second career. She went to CSU for vet school and graduated in 2011. Then she did a one-year internship at Texas A&M. After the internship and a year of private practice, she moved back to Colorado and worked with a rescue in Weld county. Last September she was excited to join the staff at Orchard Animal Clinic. She lives in Windsor with her husband Jim and their crazy cat Socks (a foster failure from the Humane Society during vet school). She likes to read suspense novels and build woodworking projects.
